The new Vacumobil 350 – the powerful class leader
Almost 50% more power, infinite possibilities
Dust collection is now a regular part of operations in small and medium-sized woodworking and wood-processing operations. Compact or mobile extraction units such as the Vacumobil from HÖCKER POLYTECHNIK have been taking care of this task for several years. Its flexible range of applications and many individual equipment options allow it to be used virtually anywhere where the use of a large filter system is not profitable or smaller solutions are overextended.
Vacumobiles are usually used in the workshop close to the production machinery. Its convenient positioning makes it practical, but it comes with a power limit – DIN 8416 limits the flow rate for dedusters used in the work area to a maximum of 6,000 m3/h. With the new prEN 16770:2014 European standard, this restriction is increased to 8,000 m³/h creating a new class of particularly powerful and compact dedusters.
The new HÖCKER POLYTECHNIK Vacumobil 350 already aligns itself with the coming standard and distinguishes itself by impressive performance data.
The input power is now 46% higher than that of Vacumobil 300, until now the most powerful unit. An 11 kW drive of the IE3 energy efficiency class provides the power for optimum negative pressure. At a flow rate of 8,000 m3/h the Vacumobil 350 generates negative pressure of 2,500 Pa. This extra performance allows extraction at additional machines or the increasingly popular CNC machines.
The filter surface of 35 m2 is properly cleaned using a jet or vibration cleaning process. Of course, with a residual dust content of less than 0.1 mg/m³ (H3) in accordance with Technical Rule for Hazardous Substances 553, the important work safety regulations are met.
Three versions of the Vacumobil 350 safely and reliably handle and convey filtered dust and chips. In addition to the standard extraction in collecting drums, the rotary feeder for container or silo feeding or the integrated briquetting press provides viable options for higher material volumes.
Other features such as standard heat recovery in recirculation mode, convenient operation of the PLC controller with automatic power-on and safety mechanisms, such as the integrated fire extinguisher or the check valve, turn the Vacumobil 350 into a comprehensive package for power-hungry wood processors.
