As of 1st February 2011 Höcker Polytechnik GmbH has taken over the business of K.V.T combustion technology from Rödinghausen. The founder and previous owner Hermann Knickmeier has retired and transferred the customer base, his know-how and parts of assets in the hands of the medium-sized company. Hence not only the customer care is ensured in future but as well the long time acquired wealth of experience in the range of wood size reduction is preserved. Hermann Knickmeier personally supports the company take over and is available as consultant if necessary.
The focus of K.V.T. combustion technology is the development and construction of machines for wood size reduction and chipping of production waste such as wood, springs, cardboard, plastics and many more. Höcker Polytechnik will relocate the production and engineering of comminuting installations to its second factory in Bad Laer. No jobs are lost at K.V.T., as Hermann Knickmeier worked alone the last time. Customer care for the product ranges of wood gasifiers and discharge systems of K.V.T combustion technology are taken over from Höcker Polytechnik as well though product development in this range will not be expanded and possibly be disposed.
From 1962 Höcker Polytechnik has developed, planned and produced pneumatic equipment and waste management systems for paper processing enterprises and for the woodworking industry and craft trade. More than 45.000 plants have been installed world wide from Höcker Polytechnik. The owner managed company is market leader in Germany for suction- and filter installations and pneumatic conveying systems for cardboard and corrugated cardboard industries. A long term corporate strategy, innovative developments and last but not least 150 motivated and highly trained employees (including 25 trainees) enable Höcker Polytechnik to be well equipped for future challenges.
